The finish 1.
The four to six layers of Kährs UV-cured acrylic finish or UV oil is factory applied and ready to be walked on as soon as the floor is installed.
The top layer 2.
The top layer of the hardwood is available in many different wood species and patterns.
The support layer 3.
A supporting layer guarantees stability and shape retention.
The base layer 4.
These products have a backing of spruce, giving added shape retention to these floors that can be installed by the float-in method.

Kährs with Woodloc® The biggest innovation since we invented engineered parquet. In 1941, Gustaf Kähr was granted a patent on the multi-layer parquet board, the world’s first engineered parquet. The construction made the floors more stable, and also utilised the raw material in a new way that gave greater consideration to resources. Much has happened since then, of course, but the next really big step in the history of floors was when we at Kährs introduced the woodloc joint. This mechanical glueless joint locks boards together with almost invisible joints. The rows of boards align themselves automatically, without the need for gluing. The Woodloc joint gives perfect results that withstand tough use and last throughout the floor’s lifetime. And thanks to the glueless installation, the boards can be lifted at a later date and re-laid elsewhere.
